Firm's History

the Architects Incorporated is a Cleveland based architectural firm established in Cleveland and has continually served its clients since 1974. The firm was founded by its original founders and present owners, Nick C. Vodanoff and Howard I. Filiere Jr.

With successful completion of more than 200 projects, the firm has grown in strength and maturity over the years. Messrs. Vodanoff and Filiere have over 97 years of combined professional experience with major participation in various large projects and studies in the $15 to $35 million range. The experience includes thousands of hours in the field during construction for observation, inspection, and administration of contract documents through completion of the project. The strength of the Firm's high standards in quality control and “responsible” design revolve around “hands-on” management approached for on-site construction contract administration.

An integral part of the Firm's philosophy is their pursuit and concentrated efforts to improve in the program, design, estimating, and management of complicated program and phasing projects.

The Firm's solid understanding of and detailed attention to the architectural and construction process has dramatically helped our clients with their program, design, and budget. The Firm's in-depth knowledge and experience has saved our Clients hundreds of thousand of dollars, not to mention, precious time and agony.

One of the major benefits our Firm provides for the Client is the “day-to-day” contact with one of the Firm's Owner/Principals, shepherding the Client through every step of the construction process to completion.
